Morpheus8 in Augusta, GA

Morpheus8 is a powerful new microneedling treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to produce greater cosmetic benefits than traditional microneedling treatments. At Southeastern Aesthetic Surgery, led by skilled plastic surgeons like board-certified plastic surgeons Dr. Troy Austin and Dr. Matthew Isakson, we offer Morhpeus8 to the residents of Augusta, Evans and Columbia County, GA.

WHAT IS MORPHEUS8?

Morpheus8 is an advanced microneedling treatment that combines the benefits of radiofrequency (RF) energy with traditional microneedling. Morpheus8 is designed to remodel skin tissue by triggering the body’s own healing responses. While microneedling treatments do this well, the addition of RF energy means greater results, faster recovery times, immediate skin-tightening benefits and more customizable treatment plans.

HOW MUCH DO MORPHEUS8 TREATMENTS COST?

The cost of your Morpheus8 treatments will depend on several factors, including the number of treatment sessions needed to produce your desired results. At your consultation, Dr. Austin, Dr. Isakson will listen to your concerns and create a personalized treatment plan. From here, our experienced staff will be able to provide you with an estimated cost of your treatment. To ensure that patients are able to afford treatment, we provide several financing options, including CareCredit® and PatientFi - Click here to apply.

HOW DOES MORHPEUS8 WORK?

Morpheus8 works much like a traditional microneedling device, but with the added component of RF energy. Similar to microneedling, Morpheus8 uses needle tips to inflict small wounds to the skin. This triggers a healing response in the body, which stimulates the production of collagen. New collagen will be used to repair and strengthen the skin, producing cosmetic benefits. During treatment, Morpheus8 emits RF energy to the surrounding skin tissue as the microneedles break the skin’s surface. The RF energy further stimulates collagen production while heating the tissue to trigger immediate skin tightening.

WHAT ARE THE MORPHEUS8 BENEFITS?

Morpheus8 offers many of the same benefits as traditional microneedling, but with greater results, within fewer treatment sessions, and a great deal of customizability. Additional benefits include:

  • Improved skin tone and texture
  • Reduces lines and wrinkles
  • Improves scarring, stretch marks and pigmentation
  • Reduced downtime compared to traditional microneedling

WHAT IS THE MORPHEUS8 TREATMENT LIKE?

Morpheus8 treatment typically begins with the application of a topical anesthetic. This numbs the skin to minimize any discomfort that may occur during the microneedling process. Then, the handheld Morpheus8 device will be maneuvered around the skin. In each treatment area, it will be pressed onto the skin as needles pierce the skin’s surface and deliver RF energy into the surrounding skin tissue. Morpheus8 treatments take less than 1 hour to perform.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER MORPHEUS8 TREATMENTS?

There is minimal downtime required after Morpheus8 treatments, as patients rarely need more than 48 hours for the skin to heal. However, some patients may notice redness or sensitivity that persists for a few days. As long as you avoid activities and skincare products that could irritate the skin while it heals, you will be able to resume your usual activities immediately after your Morpheus8 treatment.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM MORPHEUS8?

While you will notice some initial improvements in the skin immediately after Morpheus8, the final results will become fully visible in 1 to 3 months after your treatment. In some cases, we may recommend multiple treatment sessions for best results. These results are clinically proven to last up to 1 year.
